Leah Wyrick is the founder of Three Strands Recovery Wear and the inventor of the Resilience Bra, a post-surgical recovery bra designed for breast cancer and cosmetic surgery patients to wear immediately after surgery. She founded her company in 2018 as a freshman at Wake Forest University, inspired by her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis and the lack of comfortable, functional recovery wear available to patients.

Dedicated to improving post-operative care, Leah collaborated with top cancer institutes nationwide to develop the Resilience Bra, incorporating feedback from over 500 patients and surgeons. Since launching in April 2024, the bra has been adopted by major cancer centers, impacting breast surgical patients nationwide.

Through her work, Leah continues to advocate for better post-surgical recovery solutions, ensuring that every patient has access to the care and comfort they deserve.
