NSF Engines: Piedmont Triad Regenerative Medicine Engine

Thanks to NSF funding, Engine Workforce Development Lead Forsyth Technical Community College has added critical new technology workforce development micro-certification for a Scanning Electron Microscope and bioprinting. This program is offering hands-on training in industry-grade equipment essential to biotechnology and regenerative medicine research and manufacturing.

FTCC is now equipped to prepare a skilled workforce aligned with the NSF-PTRM Engine’s mission. By integrating these state-of-the-art technologies into its curriculum, FTCC is building the expertise needed to drive the future of regenerative medicine, bridging the gap between education and real-world commercial applications.
